Top learning frameworks

After reading this post, we’ll see:

  • The top learning frameworks.

  • How you can explore each of them to suit your style.

TL; DR;

Learning is a science. Unfortunately we’ve not been taught the best ways to learn. Here are some for you to explore & learn 5x faster.

Are you tired of learning slowly? Do you feel your output is not proportional to the time you spend learning?

You’re not alone. Many of us struggle to learn well. We waste time and forget what we’ve learnt. It’s frustrating.

What if I tell you, there are scientific ways to help you learn & retain information? Let’s dive into some.

Feynman technique.

A simple but effective method.

  • Choose a topic

  • Explain it to a child

  • Identify gaps in your explanation

  • Review and simplify

By teaching, you reveal what you don’t know. This helps learn more deeply.

Dual - coding.

Our brain loves visuals. This technique uses it to our advantage.

  • Combine words and images

  • Create mental pictures

  • Use diagrams and charts

This makes complex ideas easier to understand.

Spaced repetition.

Don’t cram. Space out learning & revision.

  • Review material at increasing intervals

  • Revisit topics just as you're about to forget them

  • Use flashcards or apps to help

This builds long - term memory.

Interleaving

Mix up your practice. Don’t focus on 1 skill at a time.

  • Switch between related topics

  • Vary your practice methods

  • Challenge yourself with different problems.

This improves problem - solving skills.

Mind maps.

One of my favorite methods. I use it all the time.

  • Start with a central idea

  • Branch out with related concepts

  • Use colors and images

The method mimics how the brain connects ideas.

Chunking.

Divide & conquer.

  • Group related information

  • Create meaningful units

  • Learn one chunk at a time

Go from overwhelming to manageable.

Pareto principle.

One of the best general principles.

  • Focus on the most important 20%

  • Identify key concepts

  • Don't waste time on minor details.

Great for time management.

SQ3R method.

  • Scan the material

  • Ask questions about it

  • Read actively

  • Recite key points

  • Review what you've learned

Overcome the dip.

Life happens. Motivation wanes. Be consistent, don’t break the chain.

  • Expect challenges

  • Set small, achievable goals

  • Celebrate progress

  • Stay consistent

By using these frameworks, you can learn faster & more effectively. Happy experimenting 🙂

That’s it!!

I hope this concept helps you learn 5x faster . If you found this helpful, share with someone who will benefit.
