A 30 - second life hack
( with lifelong impact )

After reading this post, we’ll see:
What is the 30 - second rule
Why it’s powerful enough to change your life.
How to put it into practice for lifelong impact.
TL; DR;
After every significant experience, take 30 seconds to write the most important points. Revisit often.
Life is a harsh teacher. You can learn from your experience, or from the experience of others.
There’s no shortage of inspiration or learning. If you’re mindful, it’s all around you.
The problem = your monkey mind.
You watch all the videos.
You read all the books.
You talk to everyone.
Yet, life doesn’t change.
Why?
Because you’ve not given the time + space for the lesson to sink in.
How to do this?
The 30 - second rule
After every significant experience, take 30 seconds to write the most important points.
Significant experience:
The YouTube video which made you think.
The quote which made you question yourself.
The person who left an amazing impression.
And so on...
Why it works
It’s not about the writing alone.
It’s the lesson you learnt.
It’s about your interpretation.
It’s an idea planted in your mind.
It’s the time + space you give which makes you think.
Warning = don’t wait.
Inspiration is perishable. Act on it quickly.
Benefits
You become a better listener.
You learn how to think.
It gets better with time.
How to get started?
1. Don’t be distracted
Don’t be in a hurry.
Don’t multitask.
Don’t scroll.
When something happens, your mind will pause.
Seize that moment.
2. STOP
In that moment, please stop. You can spare 30 seconds of your life.
You won’t remember the lesson if you wait for later in the day / the weekend.
Stop. Now.
3. Write
Pen + paper, phone, laptop. Don’t obsess over it.
Just sit. And write.
You can perfect the method later.
4. Revisit
Create a recurring calendar event for every month / couple of months.
Go through the lessons.
Ask yourself how your actions will change, based on this knowledge?
Remember, action without reflection is nothing.
That’s it!!
I hope this concept helps you Build a small habit with lifelong impact . If you found this helpful, share with someone who will benefit.
